Write-down of fixed assets

The value of an asset can be re-valuated during the depreciation periods. Usually this is a write-down of the value. The write-down is registered as a breakpoint which recalculates the remaining periods in the depreciation plan.

An asset can also be re-valuated at a zero value, which will make it possible to end the depreciation of the asset. The depreciation will of course also be ended when costs are posted in all estimated periods.

RamBase supports a linear depreciation model.
