Tworzenie zlecenia produkcyjnego (PWO)

[en] A Production work order (PWO) is usually created based on one of the following needs; Make to stock, Make to order or Assemble to order. The user can however create a Production work order (PWO) without any of these initial needs.

[en] Listed below are some of the applications the user can use to create a Production work order (PWO).

[en] To create a Production work order (PWO), use one of the following procedures:

[en] A. Create a Production work order (PWO) in the Production planning (PRODPLAN) application
  1. [en] To open the Production planning (PRODPLAN) application from the RamBase menu, select Production and then Planning. Finally select the Production planner option.

  2. [en] Once in the application, click the Productions tab and Create PWOCREATE icon in the lower left corner to open the PWOCREATE popup with the following options:

    • [en] Part search field, lookup icon - Required

      [en] When a part is selected the Inspect part icon allows the user to open the part in the Product (ART) application to view and edit details.

    • [en] Text textbox

      [en] Add a description

    • [en] Req textbox and Select date icon - Required

      [en] Type the requested completion date in YYYY.MM.DD format or click the Select date icon to select a date.

    • [en] Qty textbox - Required

      [en] Type the quantity.

    • [en] ManArea dropdown menu - Required

      [en] Select a manufacturing area.

    • [en] Create new PWO button

  3. [en] At a minimum select a Part, a Requested completion date and type a required Qty.

  4. [en] To create a Production work order (PWO) in Status 1 - Pending registration and open the Production work order (PWO) application, click the Create new PWO button.

    [en] The new Production work order (PWO) will be opened in the Production work order (PWO) application. To confirm, follow the steps in Procedure C.

[en] B. Create a Production work order (PWO) in the Production work orders (PWOMENU) application
  1. [en] To open the Production work orders (PWOMENU) application from the RamBase menu, select Production and then Production again. Finally select the Production work orders option.

  2. [en] Once in the application, click the +Create new order button to open a popup with the following options:

    • [en] Product dropdown menu - Required

    • [en] Description field

    • [en] Location dropdown menu

    • [en] Requested completion date field and Calendar icon - Required

    • [en] Quantity field with Increase/decrease icons

    • [en] Manufacturing area dropdown menu

    • [en] Create another checkbox

    • [en] Create button

    • [en] Close button

  3. [en] At a minimum select a Product and a Requested completion date.

  4. [en] To create a Production work order (PWO) in Status 1 - Pending registration and open the Production work order (PWO) application, click the Create button.

    [en] The new Production work order (PWO) will be opened in the Production work order (PWO) application. To confirm, follow the steps in Procedure C.

[en] C. Having followed either procedure A or B, the user can continue to confirm in the Production work order (PWO) application

[en] To confirm the Production work order (PWO) click the Confirm button in the Actions area.

[en] Clicking the Confirm button will forward the Production work order (PWO) to Status 4 (Pending scheduled production start) if all materials are available.

  1. [en] To confirm the Production work order (PWO) click the Confirm button in the Actions area.

  2. [en] Clicking the Confirm button will forward the Production work order (PWO) to Status 4 (Pending scheduled production start) if all materials are available.

    • [en] If all materials are not available, the Production work order (PWO) will be forwarded to Status 2 (Pending purchase or production).

    • [en] Or forwarded to Status 3 (Pending goods reception).
