[en] Copy from other part - Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) application

[en] Objective

[en] Enable users to quickly populate a measurement template by copying setup data from an existing part.

Ważne

  • [en] You must have access to the Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) application.

  • [en] The Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) must be in Status 1 - Draft.

  • [en] The part you want to copy from, must have a measurement template defined.

  • [en] Copied templates include all measurement lines, tolerances and units.

  • [en] Existing data in the target Product (ART) will be overwritten.

  • [en] The function is useful for standardizing templates across similar parts.

[en] Procedure - Copy from other part

  1. [en] Navigate to the source Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) via the Measure menu (MSR) application:

    [en] Navigate to the Measures menu (MSR) application and list templates

    [en] Option 1: RamBase menu → Production → Documentation → Measurement templates

    [en] Option 2: Click the Program field and type "MSR" and press ENTER, then click the Templates radio button.

  2. [en] Click the link in the DOCID column to open the source measurement in the Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) application.

  3. [en] In the Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) application, click the Copy from other Part icon, found in the top right corner of the header.

  4. [en] A dialog box will appear. Locate the source Product (ART) with the template to be copied from.

  5. [en] Once located, either click to highlight and then press ENTER, or double click to copy the source Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE) to the destination Article inspection template (MEASURETEMPLATE).
